Ο Χάρης Λαμπράκης και ο Βασίλης Τζαβάρας ξεκίνησαν να παίζουν μαζί στο πλαίσιο του συγκροτήματος Occasional Dream το 1995. Μετά τη διάλυση του group δημιουργούν το πειραματικό ντουέτο με τίτλο “Project 37”. Αφετηρία για τη μουσική των Λαμπράκη / Τζαβάρα υπήρξε η μουσική των John Coltrane, Miles Davis και Lou Reed, το ύφος των Occasional Dream. Η ποίηση του Kerouac και του Εμπειρίκου, οι ταινίες του Bergman. Το είδος που υπηρετούν είναι ένα μείγμα ακουστικού και ηλεκτρονικού ήχο, ένας συνδυασμός αυτοσχεδιαστικών περασμάτων και μελωδικών στιγμιότυπων. Στον πρώτο δίσκο “Project 37”, οι Λαμπράκης / Τζαβάρας προσπαθούν να αφηγηθούν μια μάλλον λυπητερή ιστορία, χρησιμοποιώντας αποσπάσματα, προηχογραφημένες στιγμές, τραγούδια χωρίς φωνή και τον ήχο του δρόμου να είναι παρών σε όλη τη διάρκεια του δίσκου.
Στον δεύτερο δίσκο “The lost album”, μέσω της αφαίρεσης οι Λαμπράκης / Τζαβάρας δεν αφηγούνται αυτή τη φορά. Προσπαθούν να δημιουργήσουν έναν χώρο μέσα στον οποίο η μουσική τους να επιπλέει.

Harris Lambrakis and Vassilis Tzavaras first met in 1995 in the group Occasional Dream. After a while the created the experimental duet “Project 37”
They were deeply inspired by the music of John Coltrane, Miles Davis and Lou Reed, and the sound of their previous band (Occasional Dream). They were also inspired by the poetry of Jack Kerouac, Andreas Embeirikos and the films of Ingmar Bergman.
Their style is a combination of acoustic and electronic sound, of fully improvised passages and melodic moments.
In their first album “Project 37”, Lambrakis and Tzavaras they try to tell a fictive sad story, using prerecorded material, songs without words.
In their second album “the lost album”, Lambrakis and Tzavaras through abstraction try to create their own space where their music floats.
